Lula Belle (Johnson) Fairfax

Lula Belle Johnson Fairfax, age 85 of Chadbourn, went to be with her Lord on Monday, January 3, 2022, at Liberty Commons Nursing Center in Whiteville, NC.

Lula Belle was born on October 29, 1936. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Alexander and Clara Mae Martin Johnson; her husband, David Bryant Fairfax; her daughter, Beverly Fairfax Kinlaw; siblings, Hilda Caddall, Mabel Eubanks, and Doris Sapp. 

A graveside service will held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 8, 2022, at Chadbourn Memorial Cemetery, with Rev. Wendall Ray officiating.

Lula Belle was a member of China Grove Missionary Baptist Church. 

To cherish her memory, Lula Belle leaves behind two grandsons, Michael Shane Kinlaw (Candace) of Chadbourn and Jason Kinlaw (Tena) of Chadbourn; her sister, Barbara Edwards of Mollie; two brothers, Joe Johnson of Greensboro, and Johnny Johnson of Mollie; great-grandchildren, Makayla Rose Kinlaw, Kenleigh Lynn Kinlaw, Kale Michael Kinlaw, Jae Lynn Kinlaw, McKenzie Gayle Hobbs, and David Levi Kinlaw.
