Lucille Dyson Obituary

Lucille Blackwell Dyson, age 86 of Chadbourn, passed away on Friday, September 17, 2021, at Liberty Commons Nursing Home in Whiteville.

Lucille was born on May 8, 1935, in Columbus County, to the late Jepsie James and Flora Jane Nobles Blackwell. She was also preceded by her siblings, Missouri Nobles, Earl Blackwell, Billy Blackwell, Kathleen Nealey, Vancie Williams, Ruby McPherson, Letha Hilbourn and Kate Nobles, Rossie Blackwell.

Services will be held at a later date.

Survivors include her husband, Alton Ray Dyson, Sr. of Mullins, SC; daughter, Susan Rae Dyson (Toni) of Nakina, Alton Ray Dyson, Jr. (Karen) of New Holland; grandchildren, Christopher Walters, Morgan Gore, Jeremy Dyson, Johnny Dyson, Aaron Dyson; two great-grandchildren.
