Linda Kay Tyree Ransom, 78, of the Mt. Olive Community in Bladenboro, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday morning, March 30, 2025, at Liberty Commons Nursing & Rehab Center, surrounded by her family.

Linda was born on December 23, 1946, daughter of the late James Leon Tyree and Dallie Joyce Inman Tyree.

Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 1, 2025, at Worthington Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Mt. Calvary Original Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 2:00-2:45 p.m. on Tuesday prior to the service.

Linda leaves behind her husband, Jerry Hayes Ransom; son, Jerry Lawrence Ransom (Heather); grandchildren, Riley Hayes Ransom (Alicia), Bailey Ransom Parker (Preston); great-grandchildren, James Hayes Parker, Madelynn Kay Ransom, Jack Preston Parker, Layley Anna Ransom, Kimble Meredith Parker, El Beth Parker; brother, Freddy Tyree (Terry)
