Linda (Nobles) Hooks

Linda Nobles Hooks, 86, of Chadbourn, passed away on Tuesday, March 27, 2024, at Columbus Regional Healthcare System in Whiteville.

Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, March 29, 2024, at Worthington Funeral Home, with burial to follow in the Chadbourn Memorial Cemetery.

The visitation will be from 2:00-2:45 p.m. on Friday, prior to the service at the funeral home.

A native of Columbus County, Linda was the daughter of the late Furney George Nobles and Lettie Ward Nobles and was also preceded in death by two brothers, Glenn Nobles and Clyde Nobles and her sister, Marjorie Faye Edge Strickland.  

Linda was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

She is survived by her loving husband, Tommy Hooks of Chadbourn; sons, Tommy Lynn Hooks and wife, Lula, of Lake Waccamaw, Darryl Hooks and wife, Crystal, of Chadbourn; grandchildren, Jeremy Hooks (Jama), Derrick Hooks (Stephanie), Colby Hooks, Leah Hooks, Collin Hooks; great-grandchildren, Lily Grace, Avery, Layla, Aiden, Blake, Fisher, and Ruby.
