Mrs. Linda Ann Hardin Barnes, age 66 of Chadbourn died Saturday, June 26, 2010 at her residence. Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 29, 2010 at Porter Swamp Baptist Church, Cerro Gordo with Reverend Tim Moore officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. She was the daughter, of the late Everette Leonard and Mortie Mae Williamson Hardin. Linda retired from the accounting department of the Robesonian in 2008 after 42 years of employment. She is survived by her husband, James Jimmy Junior Barnes of the home; daughter, Melody B. Thompson and husband, Eric of Cerro Gordo; brothers, Jerry W. Hardin of Clarkton, Milton R. Hardin of Evergreen and Carl A. Hardin of Evergreen; three grandchildren, Kayla Thompson, Austin Thompson and Kristen Thompson. The family will receive friends 7-9 p.m. Monday at Worthington Funeral Home in Chadbourn. No service information has been added.
