Leland Reed Obituary

Leland Wendall Reed, 73, of Shallotte, died on Wednesday October 4, 2023, while in the Angel House Hospice Care Center in Whiteville.

Leland was born on October 31, 1949, in Fairfield, Iowa, son of the late Elvin Reed and Lurena Bonnett Reed.

No services will be held.

Surviving family includes his wife Angela Reed of the home; siblings, Larry Reed (Louise) of Dixon, IL, Donald “Don” Reed (Maxine) of Plano, TX, Richard Reed (Mary) of Fairfield, IA, and Deen Reed of Roanoke, VA; a brother-in-law, Edward Schrull (Jean) of Summerfield, NC; sister-in-law, Ansy Schrull of Shallotte; and a host of loving nieces and nephews.
