Laura Viola Dyson Savis Obituary
Mrs. Laura Viola Dyson Sarvis, age 64 of Chadbourn, died Thursday July 23, 2009 at her residence. Final rites will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 25, 2009 at Worthington Funeral Home with Reverend Jonathan Simmons and Reverend John McPherson officiating. Interment will follow in Chadbourn Memorial Cemetery. She is survived by her husband, William Ferbee Sarvis of the home; a daughter, Darlene Sarvis of Bolton; step-son, Keith Thompson of Whiteville; brothers, Johnny F. Dyson and Francis Dale Dyson both of Chadbourn; half-sisters, Dorothy Dyson of Chadbourn and Mildred Floyd of Rocky Mount; half-brother, Crowell Dyson, Jr. of Chadbourn; one grandson. The family will receive friends 7-9 p.m. Friday at Worthington Funeral Home in Chadbourn. No service information has been added.
