Kenneth Charles McKee

Kenneth Charles McKee age 71, of Lake Waccamaw went to be with his Lord on Monday, June 27, 2022, at Columbus Regional Healthcare System in Whiteville. 

Kenneth was born on March 24, 1951, in Whiteville to the late Charles Edward McKee and Inez Buffkin McKee.  He was also preceded in death by his brother, Thomas “Red” Howard McKee.

Final rites will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, July 1, 2022, at the Worthington Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Mitchell Smith officiating.  Interment will follow in the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Worthington Funeral Home on Friday. 

To cherish his memory, he leaves his wife of 48 years, Rebecca Neville McKee; a daughter, Heather Dawn McKee Woody (Mark) of Whiteville; a son, Kenneth "Kenny" Charles McKee, Jr. (Jaime) of Asheville; two siblings, Jacqueline Sue Ganus of Whiteville, and Marvel Marie McKee of Leland; two grandchildren, Lucas Edward McKee and Lilah Grace McKee.
