Obituary
Kathy Ellen Williamson, 68, of Evergreen went to be with her Lord on Friday, April 21, 2023 at Novant Health New Hanover Regional Medical Center, with family by her side.
Kathy was born on March 27, 1955, in Columbus County, daughter of the late Branton Bailey “Jim” Williamson and Phyllis Ree Ivey Williamson. In addition to her parents, Kathy is also preceded in death by her brother, Glenn Bailey Williamson.
She was employed at Marion County Medical Center in the medical recording field for many years until her retirement.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, April 24, 2023, at Cedar Grove Baptist Church with Reverend Jeff Stocks officiating. Interment will follow in the Williamson Family Cemetery, Evergreen.
The family will speak to friends prior to the service from 1:30-2:45 p.m. on Monday at Cedar Grove Baptist Church.
Kathy leaves behind her beloved husband Pedrew “Drew” Everette Williamson of the home; two sons Brian Williamson (Whitney) of Evergreen and Brad Williamson (Briana) of Evergreen; brothers Leon Williamson (Esther) of Evergreen, Mark Williamson (Holly) of Evergreen; sister-in-law, Judy Williamson of Evergreen; and one grandchild Benton Javey Williamson and many loving nieces and nephews.
