Kathryn was born on December 25, 1950, daughter of the late Mary & Eugene Moore. She was also preceded in death by her son, Daniel Carson; brothers, Dave Moore, Howard Moore.

The surviving family includes her son, Matthew Carson of Morgantown, WV; daughter in law, Mary Carson of Buckhannon, WV; grandchildren, Christopher Carson, Makayla & Marc Samudio, Alma Ann Carson; great-grandchildren, Camela and Luchiano Samudio, Josephine Carson; sisters, Charlotte & Dennis Bales, Pam & Spencer Carey; sister-in-law, Joyce Moore; brothers, Ed & Tammy Moore, Steve & Loretta Moore.
