Joyce Inman Price, 77, of Sarasota, Florida, and formerly of the Pleasant Hill Community in Whiteville, passed away on Sunday, May 17, 2026  at the Sarasota Memorial Hospital in Venice, Florida.

Joyce was born on November 19, 1948, daughter of the late Samuel Albert Inman and Evie Mae Thorpe Inman.  

Funeral service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 2, 2026 at Worthington Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. 

Visitation and viewing will be from 2:00-2:45 p.m. prior to the service on Tuesday. 

Joyce was employed for many years as a department manager at Walmart. 

The surviving family includes her longtime companion, Mr. Ronald Shuman Chadbourn, NC; daughters, Kristie Price, (Barry Manning) of North Port, FL, Sarah Nobles (Matt Nobles), of Dayville, CT; granddaughter, Cassandra Price, (Ian Hemp) of Port Charlotte, FL; grandsons, Damian Reaves and Ethan Nobles; sister, Madeline Inman Cook, (Robert Cook) of Wilmington, NC; Multiple friends, nieces, and nephews.
