Joshua Matthew Thompson, 44, of the Macedonia Community in Evergreen, passed away suddenly on Sunday, February 8, 2026, at his residence.

Josh was born on February 3, 1982. He was preceded in death by his father, Dickie Marsh Thompson; brother,  Ronnie Marsh Thompson.

Funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, at Macedonia Baptist Church with burial to follow in the Curt Williamson Family Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Tuesday evening, at Worthington Funeral Home.  

Josh leaves behind his wife, Alicia Williamson Thompson; children, Evan Thompson, and Anna Thompson; mother, Rhonda Strickland Thompson; brothers, Clint Thompson, Aaron Thompson, and Michael Andrews; host of loving extended family and friends.
