Obituary
Joseph Lloyd Gore, age 79 of Whiteville, died on Monday, January 11, 2021 at Conway Medical Center in Conway, SC, following a recent illness.
Lloyd was born on February 17, 1941, in Columbus County, to the late Joseph Adam Gore and Evie Mae Stanley Gore.
A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.
Lloyd worked at WTAB Radio in Tabor City for many years in addition to Shallotte (WVCB), Whiteville (WENC) and Loris, SC. (WLSC)
Survivors include his siblings, Alice Faye Lawing of Marysville, OH, Ray Gore of Whiteville, and Esta Gore Boswell, also of Whiteville; Lloyd also leaves behind many nieces and nephews.
