Joseph Mark Ransom, age 26 of Whiteville died Thursday. Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m. Saturday, January 9, 2010 at Worthington Funeral Home, Chadbourn. Interment will follow in Whiteville Memorial Cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Teila Marie Gore Ransom of the home; mother and step-father, Marjorie Parks and Jimmy Musselwhite of Whiteville; father Mitchell Ransom of Bladenboro, brothers, Mitchell Ransom and Michael Ransom both of Bladenboro; sisters, Julia Ransom of Whiteville and Michelle Ransom of Missippi; Grandparents, Effie Ransom of Bladenboro, George Burton of Lisbon and Loretta Burton of Lake Waccamaw. Visitation will be held 7-9 p.m. Friday at Worthington Funeral Home in Chadbourn. No service information has been added.
