Joseph Lester Gore, age 49 of Whiteville died Wednesday, July 08, 2009 at his residence. A memorial service will be held 4:00 p.m. Sunday, July 12, 2009 at Worthington Funeral Home. He was the son of the late Willard Santa and Margaret Blanton Gore. He is survived by a son, Marcus Coy Gore of Loganville, GA; a daughter, Amanda Kaye Gore of Whiteville; sister, Pamyla G. Worthington of Shallotte; two brothers, Willard Mack Gore of Chadbourn and Kevin Ray Gore of Southern Pines; 2 grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 3-4 p.m. (one hour prior) Sunday at Worthington Funeral Home in Chadbourn. No service information has been added.
