Jonathan Adam Driggers

jonathan Adam Driggers, 37, of Bishopville, SC, entered into his eternal rest on Saturday, January 2, 2021. He was born October 30, 1983, in Whiteville, NC, the son of Guerry and Rachel (Eissens) Driggers and the grandson of Paul and Annette Eissens of Chadbourn, NC, and Billy and Roberta Driggers of Cades, SC. 

He attended Chadbourn Elementary School and received his GED in Jacksonville, FL, followed by an Associate Degree in Computer Architectural Design from Central Community College in Sumter, SC. Jonathan worked for numerous years in the construction trade, beginning as a carpenter’s helper with his mother’s cousin in Jacksonville, FL, where he quickly advanced in his grasp of the necessary skills because of his high learning aptitude and his overall humble, yet assertive demeanor. He later furthered his carpentry experience as a valued employee in Marine Construction in South Carolina. An indication of Jonathan’s abilities is his attaining an Associate Degree in Computer Architectural Design during downtime in the construction industry following the financial crash in 2008.

Jonathan leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Kelly Driggers; son Baron and daughter Arabella Driggers; his mother Rachel (Randy) Hayes of Chadbourn, NC; his father Guerry (Janet) Driggers of Bishopville, SC; his brother,  Nathan (Nikki) Driggers of Elgin, SC, and stepbrothers Clint and Beaver; and his grandmothers Annette Eissens and Roberta Driggers. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. 

A service to celebrate Jonathan’s life will be announced at a later date.
