Jerry Wayne Fowler, 74, of Whiteville, entered into his eternal rest on Wednesday, September 13, 2023, while in the Columbus Regional Healthcare System in Whiteville.
Jerry Wayne was born on January 23, 1949, son of the late Dalton Fowler and Idella Fowler. He is also preceded in death by his first and second wife, Sherry Fowler and Hiawatha Fowler; three siblings, Lora Faye Tyler, Bobby Gene Fowler, and Ruby Fowler Hammond; and a grandson C.J. Fowler.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 16, 2023, at Worthington Funeral Home, with Pastor Paul Lambert officiating; burial will follow in the Myrtle Green Cemetery, Tabor City.
The family will speak to friends from 2:00-2:50 p.m. prior to the service on Saturday.
Surviving children, Chris Fowler (Pam) of Alabama, Melissa Fowler Hinson (Ashley) of Evergreen, Becky Fowler Myers (Tim) of Whiteville; grandchildren, Ashley Johnston, Jacob Myers (Kim), Kaila Hinson, Lyndsey Myers, Riley Hinson, Caitlyn Fowler; great-grandchildren, Joel & Ember Myers; siblings, Thomas Fowler, Floyd Fowler, all of Whiteville, Judy Mundy of Varnamtown, Esther Thompkins of Tabor City.
