Mr. Jerry Delane Ward, age 62 of Chadbourn died Friday, February 26, 2010 at Columbus Regional Healthcare System in Whiteville. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Monday at Worthington Funeral Home with Reverend Roy Walker officiating. Interment will follow in the New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery, Whiteville. He was the son of the late Brice Henry and Irene Blackmon Ward and preceded in death by a brother, Randy Dale Ward. He is survived by a daughter, Pamela Ward Buck of Tabor City; three sons, Jeffrey D. Ward of Chadbourn, Justin Williamson of Whiteville, and Logan A. Williamson of Chadbourn; brothers, Gary M. Ward of Chadbourn and Keith Ward of Whiteville; four grandchildren. The family will receive friends 7-9 p.m. Sunday at Worthington Funeral Home in Chadbourn. No service information has been added.
