Jerry Wayne Cribb, 74, went home to be with the Lord on Easter Sunday, April 5, 2026, at the McLeod Loris Hospital, with family at his bedside. He fought the good fight, finished the course and kept the faith. 

A native of the Beaverdam community, Jerry was the son of the late Joseph Lee Cribb and Alene McPherson Cribb. In addition, he is also preceded in death by his brother, Joseph "Jerome" Cribb.

Funeral services commemorating Jerry’s life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 8, 2026 at New Life Community Church, with burial to follow in the McPherson Cemetery in Beaverdam.

The family will speak to friends prior to the service, from 1:00-1:45 p.m. at the church on Wednesday. 

Jerry was a man of many characteristics and had a strong work ethic. He loved singing praises unto the Lord and attending church at New life Community Church, when his health allowed. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, and a lover of all things outdoors! 

To cherish his memory and carry on his legacy, Jerry leaves behind his wife of almost 56 years, Margie Cartrette Cribb; three children, Bronson Cribb, Pastor Charles Cribb and wife, Kelly, Rhonda McMillian and husband, Carl; grandchildren, Seth Cribb, Dr. Tristyn C. Soles and husband, Lance, Aireeyon Gause, Amaziah Gause, Uzziah Gause, Soraya McMillian.
