Jerry Leon Brown

Jerry Leon Brown, age 73 of Myrtle Beach, passed away on May 24, 2021 at Grand Strand Medical Center in Myrtle Beach, SC.

Jerry was born on May 5, 1948 in Richlands, Virginia to the late Marie Brown Bowles and David H. Bowles.  He honorably served his country in the United States Army.

For many years Jerry was employed in the real estate market in the Myrtle Beach area until his health declined.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 31, 2021 at the Chadbourn Memorial Cemetery (5800 Chadbourn Hwy., Chadbourn, NC 28431) with Dr. Darrin Moore officiating. 

The family will receive friends at the cemetery.   

Jerry leaves behind his wife, Barbara Jean Gore of the home; siblings, Margaret Christine Bowles Taylor and her husband, John of Macclesfield, NC, Rita Bowles Vestal of Lexington, NC and Faye Bowles Larson of Wisconsin; step-daughter, Tracy Renee’ Lambert of Murrells Inlet, SC; step-grandchildren, Hunter Tedder of Swan Lake, Montana and Natalie Carriker of Murrells Inlet; and many nieces and nephews.
