Jeanie Lynette Combs Shell, 69, of Cerro Gordo, died on Saturday, September 2, 2023, at home.

Jeanie was born on June 23, 1954, in Columbus County, to the late Bobby H. & Mable Lee Williamson Combs and was the widow of Tony Shell.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, September 10, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Gowan Cemetery in Cerro Gordo, with Pastor Neill Smith officiating.

Jeanie leaves behind her two daughters, Lori S. Bowen (Jamie) of Cerro Gordo, Lisa S. Andrews (Robin) of Cerro Gordo; sister, Brenda Lee Combs Mercer (Donald) of Chadbourn; grandchildren, Alexis Bowen, Will Andrews, and Briley Bowen.
