Jean Yvonne (Tuton) Shaw

Jean Yvonne Tuton Shaw, ae 82 of the Corinth Community in Chadbourn, went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, March 10, 2021, at her home, surrounded by her family. 

Jean was born on April 22, 1938, to the late Willie Benjamin and Minnie Catherine Bullard Tuton. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Billy Tuton. 

Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 13, 2021 at Corinth Baptist Church with Pastor Robin Cox and Rev. Tony Ward officiating. Interment will follow in the Shaw Family Cemetery. 

Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00, Friday evening at the funeral home.

Jean was a member of Corinth Baptist Church, and was employed in retail sales for over 20 years. 

Survivors include her beloved husband, Charles Shaw of the home; three daughters: Terry S. Walker (Veronda) of Tabor City, Ida Jean Horton of Chadbourn, and Trish Shaw Nealey of Chadbourn; son, Shane Andrew Shaw (Kassie) of Chadbourn; thirteen Grandchildren, three Great-Grandchildren, and one Great-Great-Granddaughter.
