Jannette Wiggins Brady, 80, of the Mt. Calvary Community of Clarkton, passed away on Wednesday, December 24, 2025, at the Lower Cape Fear LifeCare “Angel House” in Whiteville with her family by her side.

Jannette was born on August 26, 1945, to the late Joseph Arthur Wiggins and Omie Lucille Thompson Wiggins. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Hugh Eugene Brady in 2020 and a brother, Danny Wiggins.

Jannette was a dedicated Hospice Nurse with over 25 years of service.  She was gracious person and very giving to others. 

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Sunday, December 28, 2025, at Worthington Funeral Home with Pastor Bryan Hickman and Pastor Kevin K. Kinlaw officiating.  
The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home. 

Jannette is survived by four siblings, JC Wiggins and his wife, Linda of Clarkton, Peggy W. Ward and her husband, Purl of Whiteville, Vicky Packer of Clarkton and Lisa Britt of Evergreen; she is also survived by seven living nieces and nephews, Missy Nance, Darryl Nance, Heath Packer, Joseph Packer, Logan Britt, Seth Britt, Angela Aydell and many loving great-nieces and nephews.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to the Lower Cape Fear LifeCare Angel House,  "Bountiful Life Mural Wall" in her honor.
