James Marty Duncan, age 65 of Whiteville and formally of Dallas, NC, died suddenly on Friday, March 24, 2023, at his home.
Marty was born on February 13, 1958, in Gaston County, to the late James Cleveland Duncan and Kathleen Morgan. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Nettie Duncan.
No services will be held at this time.
Surviving family includes a daughter, Tina D. Berryhill and husband, John, of Dallas, NC; sister, Frances Chappell of Whiteville; grandchildren, Autumn Berryhill and Aaron Berryhill, both of Dallas, NC; great-grandchildren, Bobby Carpenter, III, Isaac “Blue” Berryhill; nieces and nephews, Angel Jonas, Billy (Lisa) Chappell, Beth (Jonathan) Housend; great-nieces and nephews, John, Bug, Paxton, Taven, Rain, Carla, Baby Owl, Emma, Duck, Gage, Chase, Donna; great-great nieces and nephews, Kinsley, Emerson, and Paisley.
