Mr. James Peck Bullard, age 81 of Cerro Gordo died at his residence Monday, June 15, 2009. Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m. Thursday at the Chadbourn Pentecostal Holiness Church with Reverend Richard Robinson, Reverend Jim Skinner, Reverend Lenor Powell and Dr. Ray Lundy officiating. Interment will follow in the Porter Swamp Baptist Church Cemetery. He was the husband of the late Reverend Carrie C. Bullard and the son of the late Nicholas Roland and Della Harrelson Bullard. He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Brenda Gayle Bullard. Mr. Bullard was a veteran serving in the U.S. Army. He was a retired farmer and retired retail merchant. He is survived by a son, James Ricky Bullard and his wife, Judy of Cerro Gordo and their children, Matthew and Ashley; daughters, Saundra B. Nobles and her husband, Danny of Cerro Gordo and their children, Amanda and Nicky (preceded in death); Angel B. Memory of Cerro Gordo and her children, Tanner and Alley; a sister, Bertice Ellis of Fair Bluff. Pallbearers, Matthew Bullard, Tanner Memory, David Memory, Chad Dudney, Nick Williamson, Archie Paul Bullard. Visitation will be held 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the Chadbourn Pentecostal Holiness Church.
