James Howard Nobles, age 59 of Chadbourn died Monday, July 06, 2009 at Columbus Regional Healthcare in Whiteville. Funeral services will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 8, 2009 at Worthington Funeral Home with Reverend Jonathan Simmons officiating. Interment will follow in Chadbourn Memorial Cemetery. He was the son of the late Willie Howard Nobles. He retired from the Bladen County School System after 19 years of service. He is survived by two sons, James Shea Nobles of the home and Robert Adam Nobles of White Lake; mother, Roxie Green Nobles of Cerro Gordo; brother, Jimmy Nobles of Chadbourn; sisters, Roxanne McDowell of Tabor City, Pansy Todd of Cerro Gordo, Debbie Smith of Whiteville, Lorie Blackwell of Whiteville.
