James Elton Batten, 58, of Chadbourn, passed away on Saturday, March 25, 2023, at the Lower Cape Fear LifeCare Hospice Center in Whiteville.
James was born on March 2, 1965, in Columbus County to the late Jimmy Elton Batten and Virginia Mae Lee Batten.
No services will be held at this time.
The surviving family includes his son, Jeffery Elton Batten (Rachel) and a daughter, Jessica Amber Batten; siblings, Kenneth Carl Batten (Pam), Gregory Lee Batten (Jackie) and Glenda Gail Batten (Jeffery) all of Chadbourn; and a granddaughter, Stella Grace Batten.
