Jackie Wayne Gore, 78, of Old Dock, went home to be with Jesus on Sunday evening, October 12, 2025, at McLeod Loris Hospital.

Wayne was born on December 23, 1946. He was preceded in death by his children, Matthew Wayne Gore and William Jason Gore.

A graveside service will be conducted in the Old Dock Methodist Church Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 15, 2025 with Pastor Colton Reaves officiating.

The family will speak to friends prior to the service from 1:00-1:45 in the church.

Wayne was a veteran, having served in the United States Army. 

The surviving family includes his loving wife, Sue Nance Gore of the home; son, Clint Gore (Cindy) of Whiteville; grandchildren, Austin Hunter Gore, and Laci Olivia Gore, both of Whiteville; siblings, Linda Dew (Jimmy Dale) and Billy Gore (Linda Gail).
