Jack Rabon, age 73 of Whiteville died Thursday, August 12, 2010 at Columbus Regional Healthcare System in Whiteville. Final rites will be held 4:00 p.m. Monday at Worthington Funeral Home with Reverend Willard McPherson officiating. Interment will follow in the family cemetery. He was the son of the late George Harley and Elsie Marlowe Rabon. He was a veteran serving in the US Army. He is survived by his wife, Joann Tyler Rabon of the home; a son, Andrew Jack Rabon of Whiteville; daughters, Victoria R. Ergen of Oak Creek, Wisconsin, Lisa R. Smith of Oak Creek, Wisconsin, Maureena R. Johnson of Oak Creek, Wisconsin, and Amie R. Albergo, of South Milwaukee, Wisconsin; a brother, Gary Rabon of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; a sister, Doris Webster of Laurinburg; 8 grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. The family will receive friends 7-9 pm Sunday at Worthington Funeral Home in Chadbourn. No service information has been added.
