JC Cook

JC Cook, 81, of Nakina, died on Sunday, April 2, 2023, at his home.

JC was born on October 17, 1941, in Stecoah, NC. He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Jean Evans Cook; his parents, John M Cook and Minnie McClain Cook; a daughter, Sherry Ann Cook; siblings, Richard Cook, Clearance Robert Cook, Timothy Cook, Daniel Cook, Easter Barberee, Dorothy Rish, Nancy Adkinson Pertalla.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, April 7, 2023 at Worthington Funeral Home, with Dr. Tommy Bryson officiating. Interment will follow in the Chadbourn Memorial Cemetery.

The family will speak to friends from 2:00-2:45 p.m., prior to the service on Friday.

Surviving family include sisters, Martha Mendaz and Daisy Brinson both of FL; daughters Crystal Williamson (Chad) and Tara Williamson (Ed); grandchildren, Brett Dorsch, Marcus Dorsch, Stephen Dorsch, Chandler Simmons, Summer Williamson, Tyler Williamson, Lakyn Williamson; five great-grandsons and three great-granddaughters.
