Irene (Sealey) Watson

Irene Sealey Watson, age 89 of Chadbourn, entered into the joys of the Lord on Monday, May 16, 2022, at home.

Irene was born on January 11, 1933, to the late Hubert Sealey and Beulah Fairfax Sealey. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Will Watson and her siblings, Mildred W. Lewis and Hubert “Junior” Sealey.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at Chadbourn Memorial  Cemetery with Pastor Donald Conway officiating.  The family will receive friends following the service at the cemetery.

Mrs. Watson was a lifelong member of Chadbourn Pentecostal Holiness Church (CPHC Ministries), of which she served in various roles over the years. 

Survivors include her children, Faye W. Williamson and husband, Tony, of Whiteville, Terry Wayne Watson and wife, Amy, of Chadbourn; grandchildren, Misty Emory (David), Kelly Holmes (Kent), Brandy W. Burge (Steven), and Ethan Watson. Irene also leaves behind five great-grandchildren, Cooper Emory, Harrison Holmes, Victoria Burge, Karsen Holmes and Case Burge.
