Mrs. Inez Buffkin McKee, age 78 of Whiteville died Sunday, June 27, 2010 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington. Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 30, 2010 at Worthington Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery, Chadbourn. She was the widow of the late Charles Edward McKee and the daughter of the late Albert Franklin and Bessie Noble Buffkin. She is survived by two sons, Kenneth C. McKee and wife, Rebecca of Lake Waccamaw and Thomas Tommy H. McKee of Whiteville; daughters, Marvel M. McKee of Raleigh and Jackie M. Ganus of Nakina; two sisters, Margaret Dunn and Mildred Hinson both of Whiteville; sister-in-laws, Ava Lee Callihan of Goldsboro and Virginia Buffkin of Whiteville; grandchildren, Heather Woody (Mark), Kenny McKee, Jr. (Jaime), Hannah Shawakha, Joshua Britt, Jeremy Britt, Jennifer House, Jasmine Mishue (Rocky McKeithan) and Devin Mishue and great-grandchildren, Suleiman Sadah, Ezekial Sadah, Samara House, Kyra Dawson, Chloe White, Haley White, Dallas McKeithan and Peep McKee.
