WHITEVILLE -- Horace Dudley Mitchell, 49, died Sunday, April 5, 2009, at Columbus Regional Healthcare. He was the son of the late Cleo D. and Betty Lee Freeman Mitchell. Final rites will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday, April 9, at Worthington Funeral Home Chapel. Worthington Funeral Home of Chadbourn is handling the arrangements. Survivors include his sisters, Addie Jackson of Lake Waccamaw, Susan Horne and Mary Willis, both of Clarkton, and Vicki Parks of Bladenboro; adopted brothers, Denvis Singletary of Clinton and Nicholas Lee Mitchell of Clarkton.
