Helen Boege Hooks Obituary
Mrs. Helen Boege Hooks, age 79 of Wilmington and formerly of Chadbourn died Sunday, January 10, 2010 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at New Hope Baptist Church with Reverend Hubert McCleney officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. She is survived by three daughters, Anna Johnson of Whiteville, Ardith Shaw of Shallotte, and Becky Drummond of Winston Salem; two sons, Ben Hooks of Wilmington and Butch Hooks of Chadbourn; 10 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at Worthington Funeral Home in Chadbourn. No service information has been added.
