Helen Sue (Williamson) Green

Helen Sue Williamson Green, age 75 of Evergreen, went to be with her Lord on Friday, September 11, 2020, at Columbus Regional Healthcare System in Whiteville, NC.

Helen was born on May 25, 1945, in Lumberton, NC, to the late J.B. Williamson and Tressa Gatsey Williamson.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 13, 2020, at the Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Jimmy Caines and Mr. Carl Brown will officiate.

Ms. Green was an educator in the Public School System. She taught at Acme Delco and Evergreen Elementary School, but retired due to declining health. 

Survivors include two sisters, Shirley W. Nance of Evergreen, Dana W. Ivey and husband, Wayne, also of Evergreen; nieces and nephews, Shelley Nance, Chris Nance, Kent Ivey, Jamie Ivey;great nephews and nieces, Zack Ivey, Brayden Nance, McKenly High, Macelynn Nance, Emmalee Nance; great-great niece, Miss Chanslee Ty Merritt.
