Heather "Nikki" Nichole Pennington

Heather Nichole “Nikki” Pennington, age 36 of Chadbourn, succumbed to injuries sustained in a car accident on March 22, 2022, while in the New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington.

Nikki, as she was lovingly known, was born on January 8, 1986, in Columbus County.

A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, March 26, 2022 at Wards Station Church of God Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. at Worthington Funeral Home.

Nikki is survived by her parents, Robert and Virginia Rose “Jenny” Gardner Pennington of Chadbourn; two precious children, Kynlee Nealey and Ethan Nealey, both of Chadbourn; a sister, Tanya Lee (Jason) of Chadbourn; and her maternal grandmother, Lois Robinson Gardner of Chadbourn.
