Mrs. Hazel Lee Batchelor Walker, age 67 of Chadbourn died Tuesday, September 29, 2009 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington. Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m. Thursday at Chadbourn Church of God with Reverend Jonathan Simmons and Reverend Charles Dudley officiating. Interment will follow in Chadbourn Memorial Cemetery. She was the daughter of the late Reverend Edward and Grace Dyson Batchelor, Sr. and also preceded in death by a son, Tony Dale Walker and a brother, Edward C. Batchelor, Jr. She is survived by three sons, Harvey Paul Walker, Jr. of Whiteville, Gary Wayne Walker of Chadbourn and Ronnie Lee Walker of Whiteville; sisters, Patricia Ann Caswell of High Point, Francis B. Inman of Whiteville, Linda Marazoff of Holden Beach, and Rose Henley of Clayton; two brothers, James C. Batchelor of Boiling Springs and Steven Ray Batchelor of Shallotte; one grandson.
