Mrs. Hattie Mae Wise Goins, age 72 of Whiteville died Sunday, November 14, 2010 at Columbus Regional Healthcare System in Whiteville. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Thursday, November 18, 2010 at Daniels Chapel Holiness Church, near Clio, SC. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. She was the daughter of the late Walter Hardee and Hattie Mae Pait Wise and the widow of W.H. Goins. She is survived by a son, Ronald Howell Goins, Sr. and his wife, Martha of Whiteville; a step-daughter, Debbie McGriff of Michigan; seven grandchildren, Ronald Howell Goins, Jr. of Whiteville, Beverly Locklear of Bennettsville, SC, Angela Blackwell of Evergreen, Derek Goins of McColl, SC, Chris Hood of Blemheim, SC, Lena Grooms of Whiteville, and Tracy Hood of Cerro Gordo; and twenty grandchildren. Visitation will be held 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at Worthington Funeral Home in Chadbourn and one hour prior to the service on Thursday at Daniels Chapel Holiness Church, Clio, SC.
