Harold "Maurice" Hamilton Obituary

Harold “Maurice” Hamilton 70, of Cerro Gordo passed on Tuesday, November 14, 2023 at Novant New Hanover Regional Medical Center.

Maurice was born on January 18, 1953 in Bladen County, son of the late Doniver “Don” Hamilton and Gladys Marlowe Hamilton. He was also preceded in death by brothers, Bobby, Justin, and Thomas Hamilton; and sisters Jean Hamilton and Donna Hamilton Canady.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.

He is survived by his children, Donnie G. Hamilton (Casey) of Lake Waccamaw, Paul Hamilton of Elizabethtown, and Timothy Hamilton of Elizabethtown; siblings, Kenneth Hamilton (Delilah) of Clarkton, Robert Hamilton (Ann) of Elizabethtown, and Florence Gore of Whiteville; companion Lucille Hood of Chadbourn; and six grandchildren.
