Gregory Haynes Obituary

Gregory Allen Haynes, age 55 of Cerro Gordo, passed away on Saturday, December 8, 2018 at Columbus Regional Healthcare System in Whiteville. Born in Columbus County on May 12, 1963, he was the son of that late Clyde Haynes. Along with his Father, he was preceded in death by his brother, Gary Dean Haynes. Survivors include his two daughters, Nancy H. Britt of Cerro Gordo, Hope H. Mendez of Fair Bluff; his mother, Betty Carol Strickland Haynes of Cerro Gordo, and five grandchildren. A memorial service will beheld 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Worthington Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Perry Cribb officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Worthington Funeral Home in Chadbourn. Visitation: Tuesday, December 11, 2018 1:00 PM
