Grace LaRue Obituary

Grace Childress LaRue, age 82 of Cerro Gordo passed on Thursday, September 21, 2017 at the Lower Cape Fear Hospice Angel House in Whiteville, Final rites will be held at 3:00 p.m. Monday at Avants Chapel Freewill Baptist Church with Reverend Mack Watts officiating. Interment will follow in the Shaw Cemetery. She is survived by a son, Walter Edmond Berry of the home; two grandchildren, Susan Berry (T.J.) of Hallsboro and Johnathan Berry Berry (Brittany) of Maxton; and six great-grandchildren; and a long time friend, Claude Boswell of Cerro Gordo. The family will receive friends at 6:00 p.m. 8:00 p.m. Sunday at Worthington Funeral Home in Chadbourn.
