Mrs. Grace Watson Strickland Barefoot, age 84 of Hallsboro died Friday, December 10, 2010 at Premier Living in Lake Waccamaw. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Worthington Funeral Home with Reverend Danny Williams officiating. Interment will follow in the Meares Family Cemetery, Fair Bluff. She was the daughter of the late Hudson and Sarah Collins Watson. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Geneva Dickson. She is survived by a daughter, Faye Carolyn Martin of Mocksville; sons, Floyd Strickland, Jr. of Casper WY, Leroy Strickland of Pomaria, SC, Gary Wayne Strickland of Abbeville, LA, and Franklin Strickland of Hallsboro; a sister, Barbara Ann Bland of Troy and Ruby Atkins of Florida; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends 7-9 p.m. Saturday at Worthington Funeral Home in Chadbourn. No service information has been added.
