Gloria Jean Ward, age 65 of Sidney died Friday, August 6, 2010 at Premier Living and Retirement Center at Lake Waccamaw. A graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, August 9, 2010 at Chadbourn Memorial Cemetery with Reverend Shelton P. Cribb officiating. She was the daughter of late Corby and Leona Williams Ward and was also preceded in death by two siblings, Carl David Ward and Carolyn Leona Ward. She is survived by a sister, Shirley W. Cribb of Whiteville; a brother, Junior Ward of Parkton. The family will receive friends 12 - 1:30 p.m. Monday at Worthington Funeral Home in Chadbourn. No service information has been added.
