Bailey was a member of Cedar Grove Baptist Church in Cerro Gordo, where he served as a Deacon. He was a Deputy in Law Enforcement for over 18 years. One of Bailey’s greatest accomplishments was being a Daddy. He considered himself significantly lucky enough to have two children, then later in life, he advanced to the title of “Poppy” to his grandsons. His family called him a hero and continue to see him that way. He was always there for his family; through every up and every down; he taught his loved ones to enjoy every small and every big moment that life has to offer. Bailey’s family feels vastly blessed in knowing that, Daddy’s never really say goodbye.
Survivors include his beloved wife and best friend of almost 50 years, Judith Ann Skipper Williamson of the home; children, Bailey “Deno” Williamson (Dawn) of Evergreen, Brittney W. Malpass (Jerry) of Evergreen; siblings, Leon Williamson (Esther) of Evergreen, Kathy Williamson (Drew) of Evergreen, Mark Williamson (Holly) of Evergreen; grandchildren, Brayson Williamson, Brennan Williamson and Gavin Williamson.
