Gary Ricky Tyree

Gary Ricky Tyree, age 62 of Whiteville, passed away suddenly on Saturday, May 7, 2022, at his home.

Ricky was born on March 4, 1960. He was preceded in death by his parents, Winston Delano Tyree & Virgina Dare Smith Tyree, and a brother, Gary Delane Tyree.

Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at Worthington Funeral Home, with Rev. Pete Cribb officiating.

Visitation will be from 3:00-3:45, prior to the service.

Mr. Tyree is survived by his children, Buck Smith Tyree and John William Tyree, both of Whiteville, Alicia Marie Fowler, Timothy W. Fowler, Erica Lynn Gore and James "Waylon" Christopher Hinson; grandchildren, Isabella, Ava Lynn, and Erianna.
