Mrs. Eva Britt Williamson, age 79 of Evergreen died Thursday, May 6, 2010 at the Southeastern Hospice House in Lumberton. She was the daughter of the late Frank and Annie Cox Britt and the widow of Clyde D. Williamson. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Delores Hoover. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Macedonia Baptist Church with Reverend Vernon Williamson officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. She is survived by a son, Jerome Williamson of Evergreen; a daughter, Gloria Ann Whaley of Clarendon; sisters, Qussie Dorsett, Eula Freeman and Ruby Nance all of Lexington; 6 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends 7-9 p.m. Saturday at Worthington Funeral Home in Chadbourn. No service information has been added.
