Mrs. Eula Mae Spivey Moore, age 81 of Chadbourn died Sunday, February 28, 2010 at Premier Living, Lake Waccamaw. She was the daughter of the late Leo and Alma Bass Spivey and the widow of Lawrence Larry Moore. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Hilda Merle Lanier. A memorial service will be held 3:00 p.m. Wednesday at Worthington Funeral Home with Dr. Reverend Milford Oxendine officiating. She is survived by a son, Terry J. Moore of Whiteville; two daughters, Vicki M. Mathewes of Goose Creek, SC and Carole M. Tyree of Chadbourn; a brother, Jesse Spivey of Chadbourn; 8 grandchildren, Chris Moore, Kimberly Clemens, Tracey Mathewes, Daryl Tyree, II, John Alan Mathewes, Quint Tyree, Caroline Tyree, Katy Tyree; and 5 great-grandchildren, John Michael Mathewes, Trey Clemens, Allison Clemens, Kailee Tyree, Savannah Tyree. The family will receive friends one hour prior (2:00 p.m.) to the service at Worthington Funeral Home. No service information has been added.
