Ervin "Whiskey" Person Green

Ervin Pearson "Whiskey" Green, age 68 of Chadbourn, passed away on Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at the Good Shephard Hospice Center in Sebring, Florida. 

Ervin was the son of the late Joe Henderson and Rose Lee Chavis Green. He was also preceded in death by his siblings, Tommie Green, Monroe Green, Joseph D. Green and Katie Green Mitchell.

Ervin honorably served his country in the United States Army and was a veteran of the Vietnam War.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 10, 2021 at the Worthington Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Roger Strickland officiating.  Interment will follow in the Cherokee Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery, Chadbourn. 

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Saturday. 

He is survived by a daughter, Jennifer Lyn Baldeshwiler of Lake Placid, FL;  a son, Ronald Hope of Lake Placid, FL; and seven grandchildren.
