Mrs. Emma Allene Duncan, age 86 of Chadbourn died Thursday at the Lower Cape Fear Hospice Life Care Center in Whiteville. Graveside services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 28, 2010 at Columbus Memorial Park in Whiteville with Reverend Kenny Byrd officiating. She was the daughter of the late Charles and Nettie Lynn Duncan and was preceded in death by a daughter, Amy Duncan Weathers; six siblings, Lynn Duncan, Glenn Duncan, Edwin Duncan, Pauline Best, Gurline Caines and Jeanette Bartley. She is survived by her husband, Paul Edwin Duncan of the home; a daughter, Paula Gail Brock of Chadbourn; a son, Keith Duncan of Chadbourn; 2 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends 7-9 pm Friday at Worthington Funeral Home in Chadbourn. No service information has been added.
