Douglas Earl Brown

Douglas Earl Brown, age 80 of Evergreen, passed away on Sunday afternoon, January 2, 2022, at his home.

Earl was born on October 1, 1941, in Columbus County, to the late James Wilbur and Naomi Gertrude Lennon Brown. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Leslie J. Brown. 

Funeral services will be rendered at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 7, 2022, at Lennon’s Crossroads Baptist Church, of which he was a member, with Rev. John Cobb and Dr. Fred Senter officiating. Interment will follow in the Kelly Cemetery, Bladenboro.

Visitation will be held from 10:00-10:45, prior to the service.

Earl was a veteran, having served in the National Guard. Even though Earl had no children of his own, he considered many friends in his life as his family; he impacted many lives and will be missed by all who knew him.
